Me Too
Tarana Burke is credited with naming the ME T0O movement in 2006. The movement started as a way of helping not only women of color, but all women to survive sexual violence and humiliation in their daily lives. I felt a deep personal empathy for their stories which impelled me to created this 12’’ D bronze rotating globe on a 25” D disk, depicting 106 different languages from 106 countries all expressing the same words “ ME TOO”."
